Toulmin Method
The Toulmin Method is the argumentation model that lawyers use to defend the veracity of their position. It is especially effective because it has a built-in component that considers the audience. Not every audience is interested in facts. Sometimes, in order to move people towards truth, you must speak to them where they live by using the vernacular of their beliefs. Doing so is handled by addressing what Toulmin calls the warrant.
