A little about me ...
High School
I attended a high school that used a mod schedule (1 mod = 18 minutes), allowed you to leave campus during free mods, and, as you can see above, let you hang out in the halls as long as you weren't bugging anyone. Despite experiencing a very different school atmosphere than all of you (I was in high school in the 1980's!), a lot of the stuff that is hard for you now was hard for me then. I got through it, and so can you.

College
Fun fact: I didn't attend school as an education major; rather, I studied Mass Communications at SUNY Plattsburgh. Whereas my focus was television and radio production, I always wound up spending my time making weird little films that are horribly embarrassing to me now. It wasn't until much later that I returned to school and earned an educational degree. I am one class away from obtaining my Masters in Differentiated Instruction.

Family
Living life isn't easy. It's important to find something that centers you when you are feeling low or feeling life perhaps a little too intensely. My life and outlook changed forever with the birth of my two daughters. They focus me and remind me that everything else is pretty much static on a channel that can be turned off at will. Figure out what centers you and keep a reminder of it somewhere you can see it every day.
